Robert S. Madden is a Long Island native who grew up in Northport, New York. Bob graduated from the United States Naval Academy, with which he continues his affiliation as a Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officer for the Long Island area. He also maintains close ties to groups honoring soldiers and veterans, such as the Wounded Warrior Project, the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and America’s Vet Dogs demonstrating his continued commitment to our Country and the Military. Along with some of his classmates from the US Naval Academy, Bob hosts wounded soldiers and their families at the annual Army-Navy Game; bringing to the forefront the themes of Honor, Courage and Commitment.
Bob has a Master’s degree in Education (Counseling) from Providence College and an M.B.A. from New York Institute of Technology. In addition, he acquired his Certified Financial Planner designation at American College and is also a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant, as well as a Certified Long Term Care Specialist.
Bob serves as a Registered Principal for MassMutual Greater Long Island, in addition to having his own practice. His focus is on the development and implementation of long-term financial strategies based on his clients’ unique goals and objectives. Bob has been advising and counseling people on financial and business matters for over 25 years. He is a registered representative and investment advisor representative of MML Investors Services, LLC, providing fee-based financial plans, retirement planning, investment and insurance solutions, as well as corporate and small business benefit plans.
Bob is often a featured speaker at financial workshops, focusing on wealth accumulation, protection planning, retirement planning and estate conservation. He participates in and chairs numerous committees, both in the business environment and in his community.
Bob is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Society of Financial Services Professionals (FSP) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Bob and his wife, Cindy, live in Huntington, New York, where they are members of the Huntington Country Club, enjoying golf whenever possible. They are involved in numerous charitab
